MedSIS CBME Module Training for 2021 Programs Taking Place in February/March

The dates are set for our annual MedSIS CBME module training for programs transitioning to CBME July 1, 2021.

NOTE: Although we identify an intended audience, we can accommodate larger numbers using Zoom. If you wish to attend or have more of your faculty attend to ready for your 2021 transition, or to review functionality and how to achieve ‘good data in’, please consider joining.

Session 1 is a high-level overview, and sessions 2 and 3 are role specific. Faculty who are more immersed in CBME as PDs, Leads, CC members and Coaches would get the greatest benefit from attending sessions 1 AND 2 as there is a lot of different functionality to digest. If you’re going to pick one, attend session 2.

 

Session 1: MedSIS CBME Module Demo (1 hour) via Zoom

Intended Audience: Open – 2021 Program Directors, CBD Leads, Academic Coaches, Program Administrators, Competence Committee Chairs/Members, Resident Leads, and Faculty Supervisors.
Description: This session is a high-level overview of all components of the CBME module including an overview of the EPA and Competence Committee Review Dashboards with a focus on triggering EPA assessment forms on both desktop and mobile versions of MedSIS.

  • Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 12:00pm
  • Thursday February 25, 2021 at 4:00pm

 

Session 2: MedSIS CBME Faculty Training (1 hour)

Intended Audience: Program Directors, CBD Leads, Competence Committee Chair/Members, Academic Coaches, Program Administrators
Description: This session will focus on navigating the CBME module as a program director, competence committee member or academic coach with attention on utilizing the EPA dashboard, learner summary report and competence committee review dashboard.

Session Dates:

  • Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 12:00pm
  • Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 4:00pm
  • Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 12:00pm
  • Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 4:00pm

 

Session 3: MedSIS CBME Program Administrator Training (1.5 hours)

Intended Audience: Program Administrators
Description: This session will focus on the administrative tasks required to facilitate CBME in MedSIS including providing access to trainee data for competence committee members/academic coaches, running learner summary reports, and setting up competence committee reviews.

  • Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 1:00pm
  • Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 1:00pm
