Audience*: 2021 Cohort, but relevant to all PDs, CBD Leads, CC Chairs, and Resident Leads
*This workshop will be relevant to those programs transitioning to CBD, as well as anyone wishing to explore programmatic assessment in CBME in greater depth.
This workshop is intended to support participants transitioning to CBME in understanding the need for programmatic assessment. Participants will understand how to design and implement a varied program of assessment which supports and documents the resident’s progress. Participants will explore ‘assessment for learning’ as formative, continuous, and constructive in its purpose to guide and improve learner performance and ‘assessment of learning’ for making decisions on learner progression based on integration of objective information from a diverse and well-designed program of assessment.
